Paul Ferguson--County Authorities record request--prison death

To Dekalb County's Custodian of Records:

This is a request for records under the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, Revised Statutes of Missouri.

Copies of all electronic or paper reports in the course of the investigation into the fight between Crossroads Correctional Center inmate Paul Ferguson (MoDOC number: 18782) and his cellmate on August 17, 2018. The fight resulted in Ferguson's death.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as provided under Missouri Law. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an electronic format preferrably a .pdf file attached to a responsive email. In the alternative physical documents would also be acceptable. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.
