Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
- A list of all arrest-related deaths during incidents involving McFarland PD officers since 2004.
- A list of all homicides by McFarland PD officers since 2004.
- A list of all officer-involved shootings by McFarland PD officers since 2004.
- A list of all complaints made by civilians against McFarland PD officers alleging excessive or inappropriate use of force since 2004, including outcomes of any subsequent inquiries.
In each case, please provide as much detail as is possible, including but not limited to: date of incident, street address of incident, identities/ages/sexes/races of the deputies and civilians involved, weapons used, circumstances of incident, police incident report or officer's narrative.
If fulfilling part of this request should delay your expected response time, please do not wait until all the information is available but rather release elements as they become available.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and the breadth of your request seeking information since 2004, the city will need additional time to search its records and I therefore extend the time to respond from November 30, 2015 to December 7, 2015 pursuant to California Government Code Section 6253(c)(2).
