Pursuant to Wisconsin's Open Records act, I hereby request the following records:
All emails and written communications in 2011 and 2012 regarding the decision to fire former Milwaukee County Parks Department Director Sue Black, or any emails mentioning Sue Black, or the Parks Department.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Thank you for your response, Mr. Schneider, and your efforts to clarify the records request. Based on your updated request, the custodian's first step will be to confirm the identities of "the County Executive and those working in his office" during the requested time period of 2011 and 2012. On confirmation of this information, you will be provided with a list of the employees whose records will be searched for responsive records, along with a cost estimate for locating the records if the cost is anticipated to exceed $50.
Please advise if you have developed any preferred search terms for use in locating electronic records. In the alternative, the Information Management Services Division will be asked for input on search terms and those terms will be shared with you as part of the cost estimate.

The search terms I would then recommend - but by no means limit the search to, if it would limit access to relevant or responsive documents - would include:
