Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:
Documents sufficient to show all missed gunfire incidents reported to ShotSpotter or SoundThinking from January 1, 2021 to January 29, 2024.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The City of Minneapolis accepts requests for data under Minnesota State Statute Chapter 13 Minnesota Government Data Practices Act through our online portal here: https://minneapolis.service-now.com/opencityportal
You can register to submit a request by clicking on Register on the top right of the site. You only need an email address to register. Once you register you can click on Submit Request. There are several forms available that will help route your request to correct department quickly. If you are not sure which form to use, you can submit your request in the General Form, and we will process your request and send to the correct department.
