Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of the RFP, bid, contract(s), addenda to the contract, extensions to the contracts, and all payments to the vendor for the POST officer license lookup tool, available here: https://mnitservices.my.site.com/POSTLicenseSearch/s/
In addition, I request the current contract between the State of Minnesota and Salesforce for its services that the POST board utilizes. We requested this previously from POST and were redirected to DPA.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Mr. Stecklow,
I received your request for data (see below), for the solicitation, contracts, and payment information related to the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board’s (POST Board) use of a license look up tool. We determined the tool was built under a Contract with Slalom, LLC, Contract #215852/30157, dated 6/21/2022-11/4/2022, for: development and delivery of the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board’s (“Board”) Peace Officer Public Records Search, Display, and Print. We also located Contract 206377, which was used to assess the suitability of the Salesforce platform for use by the POST Board.
The Department of Administration does not maintain the procurement file for those contracts, nor does our office collect payment records for contracts at other agencies. For the procurement file and payment data, please contact the POST Board directly.
A second part of your request was for the current contract between the State of Minnesota and Salesforce for its services that the POST board utilizes. As I understand it, the POST Board uses the Salesforce platform under an enterprise-wide contract, not as a separate contract. Information about how Salesforce is used across the enterprise may be available from MNIT Services, the agency that coordinates IT-related services for the state. I was not able to locate a contract with Salesforce in our agency.
I have provided the courtesy copies of the contracts that were available within my agency’s records. For everything else, you should make your request directly to the POST Board (for solicitation and payment records) or to MNIT regarding its enterprise contract supporting the Salesforce platform.

Our laws and policies allow us to seek reimbursement of reasonable costs for responding to many kinds of data practices requests. The information we have provided was readily available and in electronic form. We are not seeking reimbursement related to the material provided. We have not waived the right to seek reimbursement for future requests or for additional material related to this request.
