Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of developments that have exited LIHTC program through the qualified contract process, sufficient to show:

1) The name, full address, and ownership of all such developments
2) The total number of low-income units in all such developments
3) The start and end dates of the decontrol period of all such developments

I am a journalist with In These Times magazine, a nonprofit outlet based at 2040 N Milwaukee Ave in Chicago, IL.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good afternoon. Please accept my apologies for the length of time it has taken to get the requested data to you.

You will note that there is an Excel spreadsheet with the list you requested. There is also a .pdf showing contact information for the Minnesota Housing Tax Credit “suballocators.” In Minnesota, there are certain more local government entities that also allocate tax credits. To obtain similar information from those localities, you will need to contact the suballocators directly.
