Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
• The current procedure for procuring personal protective equipment (PPE) on behalf of agencies and entities within the jurisdiction of this office. If this office manages PPE requests for county, local, or private entities, please also provide any guiding material for soliciting, receiving, organizing, and fulfilling those requests.
• Any bids placed by this agency for the acquisition of PPE for this office or on behalf of any entity within the jurisdiction of this agency.
• Any available spreadsheet or aggregate information related to bids for PPE. Please provide all available segregable data, including but not limited to the source, the quantity, and the success of the bid.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

The State Emergency Management Agency is searching for records responsive to your request. Additional time is needed to complete the search and review any responsive records to determine whether they are open under Missouri law. In the event any information in the records is exempt from disclosure, additional time will be required to redact the information exempt from disclosure prior to providing public access and/or copies. If there are charges for search, research, or duplication time, you will be provided with an estimate of these charges, and payment will be necessary prior to the production of any records.
For these reasons, we anticipate providing a further response to you within 30 business days.

The State Emergency Management Agency continues to search for records responsive to your request. Additional time is needed to complete the search and review any responsive records to determine whether they are open under Missouri law. There is no further update since the State Emergency Management Agency’s May 27, 2020 email response to your Missouri Sunshine Law request. As stated in that response (below), SEMA requires additional time to complete the search and review any responsive records to determine whether they are open under Missouri law. SEMA still expects to have a further response to your request within 30 business days of May 27, 2020.
