Mr. Lawrence,
On January 13, 2017, we received your request for public records under the Missouri Sunshine Law pursuant to Chapter 610 of the Missouri Revised Statutes.
Your request is for the following public records:
"A copy of the primary briefing materials prepared in part or whole for purposes of the Gubernatorial Transition Process, specifically any presentations created for or delivered to members of the Gubernatorial Transition Team for the new administration during November/December 2016."
It will take us about ten (10) days to determine and deliver any records that we believe are responsive to your request.
The Missouri Sunshine Law does permit our agency to charge a fee to produce public records. We will inform you if there will be a fee. If there is a fee, we respectfully ask that the fee be paid before we deliver the public records to you.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Mr. Thornton,
Thank you for your diligence. Is the FY17 Disabled Monthly Attendance Report (printed 11/14/2016) the only document that was delivered to the governor or his staff in November or December of 2016? I would typically expect some kind of introductory memorandum or summary in addition to this data, and it seems likely the governor might have expected that as well.
Thank you again for your time,
Nathan Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence,
In double checking, I apologize but there were additional documents that we are including now that are responsive and that were delivered to the governor or his staff in November or December of 2016. There was a misunderstanding in our office that was my fault. I have attached those documents as a pdf.
It is my understanding that the documents, including the FY17 Disabled Monthly Attendance Report, were hand delivered to the Governor's Transition Team. If there were any questions or explanations about the documents, it was done during that delivery.
Please let me know if you have additional questions
Respectfully,
