Pursuant to the Alabama Public Records , I hereby request the following records:

Correspondence and contracts for telephone and electronic communication services with Global Telcoin Inc. (also known as Global Tel*Link Corp. and United Telcoin Inc.) at the Mobile County Jail from 1988 to 1994. Any correspondence with Dan Wiley, in his capacity as president of Global Telcoin, related to inmate calling services, "site commissions" or "commissions" at the Mobile County Jail from 1988 to 1994.

Records or correspondence related to the 1982 lawsuit Mobile County Jail Inmates v. Purvis, US District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, Southern Division. I also request any records related to the 1998 federal indictment of Dan Wiley, in his capacity as president of Global Telcoin, and former state auditor Terry Ellis.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

related to Inmate Phone Services.

Under the Code of Alabama, Sect. 36-12-40, “Every citizen has a right to inspect and take a copy of any public writing of this state . . .” Attorney General Opinions clarify that this means citizens of the State of Alabama, not other states.
