Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:
Any documents, policies, or training materials given to police officers that detail when and how to perform a cavity search.
The practice of humiliating cavity searches as been widely reported on: https://mic.com/articles/58173/shocking-videos-show-texas-cops-performing-illegal-body-cavity-searches-on-women#.Q7unwOi1M
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.
