Pursuant to the Alabama Public Records, I hereby request the following records:
1) Dates of employment for former Montgomery police officer Brandon Hicks while at the Montgomery Police Department;
2) Official positions held by Montgomery police officer Brandon Hicks per year of employment while at the Montgomery Police Department;
3) Annual salary earned by Montgomery police officer Brandon Hicks per year of employment while at the Montgomery Police Department;
4) Any and all police reports, arrest records, and other related reports filed against Brandon Hicks, a former police officer at the Montgomery police department;
5) Any and all complaints, warnings, disciplinary action, and other related documents filed against former police officer Brandon Hicks when he was a police officer in the Montgomery Police Department.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The City of Montgomery is in receipt of your Public Record Request, requesting information on Brandon Hicks. The City is only required to provide public records to the citizens of the state of Alabama. See McBurney v. Young, 133 S.Ct. 1709 (U.S. 2013). Therefore, the City respectfully denies your Public Record Request.
Your requested information will need a subpoena through the City of Montgomery Police Department.
