Dear Ms. Wadhwa:
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has completed its search for certain training records sought in your request below. The only identified training record that falls within the time period specified by your request, i.e., January 1, 2022 through January 1, 2024, and that references one of the specified conditions, excited delirium, is attached as a one-page document. That document was a slide within the TASER Energy Weapon Operator Certification Course (Version 23 prepared by Axon Enterprise, Inc.), which has been used in training for deputies effective as of May 1, 2023. Only deputies trained after that date would have been exposed to that particular slide during their annual TASER training.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this response.
