I received your letter requesting the complete third trial transcript of Daniel Wade Moore from 2009. I am the court reporter who was in the second and third trial. You mentioned you are aware there may be fees, but I don't think that you meant this size of a fee. Before I start digging into old computers, old hard drives, and figuring out an estimate, you need to be aware that the third trial was never transcribed. Nobody ever requested it. Therefore, you would have to pay for the original. If I had already transcribed it, a copy would have been MUCH cheaper. Without me looking it up, I know it could be in the $7,000 to $10,000 range. I know this may change your mind, but if you are still interested, I will be more than happy to look it up and give you a price. I do have the second trial transcribed if you would like to purchase a copy, and I can provide contact information for the court reporter who transcribed the first trial as well.
