To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Monthly electronic listings of all employees of the Arkansas Executive Branch from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014. Specifically, I am seeking electronic listings of all individuals employed within the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor and all state agencies, commissions, and departments for each month from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014.
For each month, I’m seeking a spreadsheet, database, or delimited text file(s) — not paper records or a PDF created from data — with the following fields for each employee: full legal name, title, department or agency, race, gender, full-time/part-time status, location, hire date, termination date, gross annual salary, and birth date.
This is a carbon copy of my earlier requests for data from 2019 - 2022 and 2015 - 2018. Thank you for your continued time and assistance. I really appreciate it.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Nicole Kanu, a citizen of Arkansas, in coordination with Ben Goehring.

We will provide you an update on the request by COB Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Hi Jennifer,
Apologies for not following up on this earlier. Thank you very much for passing these data along. I have one follow up question. Could you please clarify the entry date variable? Does it refer to the first date that an employee entered the state workforce or the date they entered their current position? If it is the former, does the variable change if someone leaves the state workforce and returns later?
Thank you very much for all of your help!
Best,
Ben

Good morning,
It is the date the entered state workforce, assuming no breaks. The recurring 06/10/2001 dates reflected in the Entry Date column is the Go-Live date of our current system. All other dates are the employee’s Latest Hire Dates so if they left State Government at any given time this date would be their return to State Government date.
