On July 25, 2019, it was reported that, "A contract providing for license plate readers to identify wanted motor vehicles and help police apprehend criminal suspects has been approved by the Alpharetta City Council. The council approved a $67,320-a-year contract with Georgia Power to place the SiteView readers at strategic locations around the city. Three locations are planned in the 2020 fiscal year, according to a staff report to the council."
Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all agreements, including but not limited to leasing agreements, contracts, MOUS, and data sharing agreements, with Georgia Power for leasing license plate reader cameras that were active between 1/1/2017 and 3/1/2024.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
