A list of all visitors applied and accepted buy New Mexico Corrections Department. And all of the write-ups given to Mr moreno since incarceration May 18th 2017
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

In all of the documents being provided, personal identifier information (he DOB of the inmates visitors and relatives, etc.) has been redacted pursuant to Sections 14-2-1 (B) and 14-2-6 (E); (Record must relate to public business to be defined as a public record) and the Attorney General's Inspection of Public Records Act Compliance Guide, Eighth Edition, pages 25-27 (Agency can deny a request for personal contact information because the record does not relate to public business, as it does not reveal anything about the official acts of the employees or the operations or activities of the agency).
The Department has now fully responded and is closing this matter.

This is in response to your IPRA request dated 11-6-19. The Office of General Counsel for the New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) has received your request and is in the process of reviewing it.
If your request seeks medical or mental health records of an inmate, please be advised that such records are not public records subject to inspection or copying via IPRA Section 14-2-1(A) NMSA. Requests for such records should be made to michelle.medina@state.nm.us<mailto:michelle.medina@state.nm.us> with a copy to alicem.pino@state.nm.us<mailto:alicem.pino@state.nm.us>.
Pursuant to 14-2-8(D) of the IPRA, you will be provided with this agency's response, including whether the Department has any objections (based on exemptions provided in the IPRA), within 15 days of receipt of your request, on or before 11-21-19.
However, pursuant to 14-2-10 of the IPRA if the Department determines that your request is excessively burdensome or broad, you will be notified within the timeframe noted above and provide you with an estimate of how much additional time will be needed to comply with your request.
Should you request copies of records, you will be required to pay the fees imposed by the New Mexico Department of Corrections, pursuant to provisions of the Inspection of Public Records Act Section 14-2-1 through 14-2-16, NMSA 1978, of $.25 per page for 11 x 17 inches or smaller. Upon request you will be provided with an estimate of the costs for copies of the records requested. This is only an estimate. You will not receive copies of any public record until you have paid the applicable fees.
