Dear Requester:
On April 22, 2022, the Maryland State Police (MSP) received your request
under the Public Information Act (Annotated Code of Maryland, General
Provisions Article §§ 4-101 through 4-601) seeking the above captioned
information.
I am writing to advise that it will take us more than 10 working days to
process the requested record(s). The delay is due to the time required to
perform a thorough search and conduct a necessary review process. Once the
record(s) has been collected, it must be reviewed to determine whether it
is, in whole or in part, exempt from disclosure under the Act. If any
information is to be withheld, you will be provided an explanation as to
why it cannot be released. As soon as records are identified, you will be
notified of any fees that may apply.
We believe that we will be able to respond to your request within 30 days
from the date it was received. If we are able to complete your request more
quickly, you will receive a response sooner.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns
about your request.
Sincerely,
