MDPS received your public records request on November 17, 2020 and attached hereto. Please be advised that we are still awaiting certain potentially responsive information that are voluminous in nature. As you are aware, the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983, as well as certain federal statutes, prohibit us from providing certain information as a governmental agency. Therefore, once we receive these documents, we will review for any prohibited information under the law. We respectfully ask for a 14-day extension to review the documents and respond to your request. Of course, should we be able to obtain and review the information sooner, we will respond before the 14-day deadline.
