Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
- Any and all records regarding members of staff, faculty, and administration's status of completion for Title IX training provided by the University of Nevada, Reno for the academic year 2023-2024.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

The University is in receipt of your request. The records requested are confidential personnel records. The records are made confidential under NAC 284.718 and Nevada System of Higher Education Code section 5.6.2. The Code has the force and effect of statute. State ex rel. Richardson v. Board of Regents, 70 Nev. 144, 261 P.2d 515 (1953). The records are also confidential under the common law balancing test. Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc. v. Las Vegas Metro. Police Dep't, 139 Nev. Adv. Op. 8, 526 P.3d 724 (2023); Donrey v. Bradshaw, 106 Nev. 630, 636, 798 P.2d 144 (1990). Moreover, the 2023 - 2024 academic year is not yet completed.
