From: National Archives and Records Administration

Dear Mr. Meadors:

This email is in response to your February 28,
2025 Freedom of Information Act request RR2RR 25-31715 concerning access to
comments U.S. Ambassador Arthur Goldberg said to the Security Council that
aircraft of the Sixth Fleet were several hundred miles from the conflict
which occurred on June 6, 1967. We received your request in our office on
March 4, 2025.

We searched our available finding aids and holdings and determined
that comments Ambassador Goldberg made to the Security Council are likely
contained in USUN Press Release # 80. We then searched our holdings for
Press Release # 80 and determined that we only have in our custody the
series: U.S. Mission To The United Nations, Press Releases, 1946-1966;
Entry A1 1030-C; Records of the Foreign Service Posts of the Department of
State, Record Group 84.

We suggest filing a FOIA request with the Department of State if you wish
to gain access to USUN Press Release # 80:
https://foia.state.gov/request/request2.aspx .

We do not consider this a denial of your FOIA request. However, if you are
not satisfied with our action on this request, your options for appeal and
dispute resolution are outlined in the attachment.

This concludes the processing of your request.

Sincerely,

AMY REYTAR
