According to documents released by the State of Tennessee, the Murfreesboro Police Department received $1,161,228in funding awarded in 2022 from the Violent Crime Intervention Fund: https://www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/finance/ocjp/VCIF%20Funding%20Plan.pdf
Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, and reporting documents related to the $1,161,228 received as part of the 2022 Violent Crime Intervention Fund.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

We show no record of a request being submitted on September 30, 2023 or adjacent dates. The request on September 30th may have been submitted to the incorrect email address.
In order to process your request, please provide government issued proof of Tennessee citizenship (such as TN Driver's License). Proof can be submitted electronically or may be brought to the Finance & Tax Department at City Hall, 1st Floor, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
