Pursuant to the Nebraska Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Emails sent or received from January 1, 2021, to the date your office processes this request by Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen that include "Republican State Leadership Committee," "RSLC," "Republican Secretaries of State Committee," or "RSSC" in the subject line, body, or attachments.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of total charges in excess of $25 in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available.

This email is regarding your records request received by our office on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, in which you requested certain records from us under the Nebraska Public Records Statutes, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09. Specifically, you requested the following:
Emails sent or received from January 1, 2021, to the date your office processes this request by Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen that include "Republican State Leadership Committee," "RSLC," "Republican Secretaries of State Committee," or "RSSC" in the subject line, body, or attachments.
This office will need to conduct a search of numerous records to determine what records we have, if any, which are responsive to your records request. As a result, your request cannot be fulfilled within four business days due to the significant difficulty associated with the search of voluminous records and with a determination as to whether there is any basis or requirement to keep portions of any records found confidential under the appropriate Nebraska statutes. The earliest practicable date for fulfilling your records request is Friday, July 2, 2021. If there will be any fees assessed, we will inform you in advance of fulfilling your request.
Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-712(4), you may choose to modify or prioritize the items within your request in some fashion. In addition, emails from myself to the Secretary have been redacted as they consist of confidential attorney-client communications which may be withheld pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 84-712.05(4).
