Ms. Berkman:
I have reviewed the documents provided by the Police Department. There are a total of 54 pages. It is our position that you are entitled to receive copies of 38 of the 54 pages. Eleven of the remaining 16 pages pertain to uncorroborated allegations of a crime and the other five pages relate to juveniles, both of which are exempt from disclosure under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act.
The non-exempt records will be mailed to you once I receive a check in the amount of $ 19.00 (38 pages @ .50 per page) payable to the City of New Britain.
