Pursuant to the New Hampshire Right to Know Law, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of the following:
1. Names of ALL "Constitutional Scholars" communicated with regarding CACR32;
2. Contact information (phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.) of ALL "Constitutional Scholars" communicated with regarding CACR32;
3. ALL e-mails to and from these "Constitutional Scholars" regarding CACR32 [ALL written e-mail communication];
4. ALL text messages to and from these "Constitutional Scholars" regarding CACR32 [ALL written phone communication];
5. ALL call logs to and from these "Constitutional Scholars" regarding CACR32 [ALL verbal communication logs];
6. ANY other form(s) of communications (including Social Media, Twitter, etc.) to and from these "Constitutional Scholars" regarding CACR32;
7. ANY and ALL research conducted with the aid of these "Constitutional Scholars" regarding CACR32.
Further information to help clarify:
- CACR32 is Constitutional Amendment Concurrent Resolution 32.
- CACR32 was introduced during the NH House 2022 Session.
- CACR32 relates to independence providing that the state of New Hampshire peacably declare independence from the United States and proceed as a sovereign nation.
- CACR32 was assigned to the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs committee.
- On January 20, 2022 at 3:30PM, the above-mentioned committee conducted the CACR32 public hearing.
- During the January 20, 2022 public hearing, Representative Deshaies [R-Wolfeboro] gave a lengthy testimony in which he stated that he talked to numerous "Constitutional Scholars" without providing any names or further information about the "Constitutional Scholars" that he had been communicating & researching with.
- On Jaunary, 21, 2022, I e-mailed Representative Deshaies asking for information regarding these "Constitutional Scholars".
- As of today, May 15, 2022, there has been no response receieved from Representative Deshaies, which is why this 91A is now being submitted to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to acquire this information.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
