From: Kevin M. Rehmann

I have no record of you previously requesting this information. Regardless, it will not be possible to provide you with the information sought within (7) days of this transmission for the following reasons:

1. All SJTA Board actions/votes are subject to a veto period by the Governor of New Jersey. This period will not expire until 1/15/2014 for December's meeting.

2. No contract is considered binding until all signatures are affixed. Since the veto period does not expire until 1/15/2013, no contracts are signed and there is no information to provide.

Because of the above listed reasons, I do not expect to have any signed contracts available until approximately 1/31/2014. If you still want the documents, I suggest you re-submit your request at that time. There will be no charge.

I have attached a copy of the resolution that is pending the veto period.

This transmission will be the formal response of the SJTA to your email dated Dec 30, 2013 and no further action will be taken.

Please confirm receipt.

Kevin,

Thank you. Message received.

So since the board approved resolution 2014-19, did it also approve resolution 2014-20 (awarding the contract to Chammings Electric)?

Carlton

From: Kevin Rehmann

Wit reference to our telephone conversation, 2014-20 was voted on and approved. Chammings Electric was the next lowest responsible bidder in the process.

If you want information on that contract I would wait until a couple of days after the veto period expires and send another email request.

All resolutions can be found on the SJTA website under 'Board Agenda' for today's date.
