Records showing all instances since January 1, 2019, where the New York Attorney General has declined to represent a state agency in a court proceeding, including the reasons for such declination, if possible.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Please be advised that the New York State Executive Chamber does not maintain records of other state agencies and is not the custodian of the records requested. However, you may wish to reach out to the New York State Attorney General's Office for the information you are seeking.
