From: Jackson Parker

Dear Laurie Kay LiPuma,

I apologize if my previous message was unclear. I understand that my request is not about the actual process of removing board members or superintendents. Instead, I am seeking documents related to the procedure, process, and protocol your organization follows in the event that the NYSED Commissioner removes board members, school officers, or superintendents from a school district under your jurisdiction.

To reiterate, I am looking for the following:

1) Any documents, policies, or procedures that your organization follows when addressing situations where the NYSED Commissioner has removed board members, school officers, or superintendents from a school district under your jurisdiction. This includes, but is not limited to, actions to fill vacancies, ensure continuity of school district operations, and any other relevant procedures.

2) Records or documentation of any past instances where the NYSED Commissioner has removed board members, school officers, or superintendents from school districts under your jurisdiction, as well as the actions taken by your organization or NYSED in response to these removals, in accordance with the established procedures and protocols.

If the information I am seeking can be found within the NYS School Law Book, I kindly request guidance on the specific sections or provisions that address these topics. I understand that some records may not be subject to disclosure and appreciate your explanation of any reasons for denial of access.
