February 11, 2025 RE: Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Request Reference # G000750-110424 Dear Mr. Cannon: This email is in response to the above-referenced FOIL request. The Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”) has conducted a diligent search for the records that you have requested. Please access this request in the NYS OAG FOIL Request Center to retrieve the record(s) that respond to your request. Please be advised that portions of the records are exempt from disclosure and have been redacted pursuant to: • Public Officers Law § 87(2)(b), because their disclosure would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. You have a right to appeal the foregoing decision. If you elect to do so, you must appeal in writing, within 30 days, to Kathryn Sheingold, Records Appeals Officer. Your appeal can be sent by email to FOIL.Appeals@ag.ny.gov or by mail to State of New York, Office of the Attorney General, Division of Appeals and Opinions, The Capitol, Albany, New York 12224. You can reach the Records Appeals Officer by telephone at (518) 776-2009. Please note that records, or portions thereof, that respond to your request are drawn from the opinions, statements, or other content provided by a complainant and do not necessarily reflect the views of the OAG. You should not construe any information provided to you by this Office to imply the Attorney General’s endorsement, recommendation, or disapproval of a given entity.
Any numerical or other data provided by the OAG is compiled by sources believed to be reliable. However, because of the dynamic nature of this Office’s receipt and processing of complaint information, we cannot guarantee that this information is perfect.
When you review complaint information, you may wish to consider the entity’s size and its volume of business transactions. You should also note the nature of the complaints and an entity’s responses to them, because that information may be equally, if not more, important than the number of complaints received by the OAG. This FOIL request is now closed. Sincerely, Records Access Officer
