Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. Copies of all forms filed by members of the Assembly in 2023 for the purpose of requiring a standing committee of the Assembly to vote on a given bill (known informally as "99s"), pursuant to Assembly rule 4.5.b
2. All receipts issued in 2023 by the clerk of each standing committee of the Assembly in response to forms filed by members requiring a committee vote on a bill ("99s"), pursuant to Assembly rule 4.5.b.1
3. Records of how many forms requiring Assembly committees to vote on bills have been filed each year from 2018 to the present, including which assembly member filed each request and which bills the requests referred to
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
