Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
The agreement between ESD and Aetna for $24 million in performance-based tax credits over 10 years, which was announced by Governor Cuomo's office on June 29, 2017.
I am a member of the news media, a staff reporter at Newsweek Media Group/International Business Times. The requested documents will be made available to the general public and used in reporting. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to section 87(2)(d) of FOIL, we have withheld information that "are trade secrets or are submitted to an agency by a commercial enterprise or derived from information obtained from a commercial enterprise and which if disclosed would cause substantial injury to the competitive position of the subject enterprise."
