Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Copies of any and all correspondence to or from NYC DOT personnel (including without limitation all email correspondence sent to or from any email address within the @dot.nyc.gov domain) referencing or pertaining to the NYC DOT redesign of Dyckman Street, in Manhattan, including the Dyckman Street protected bike lane, dated from January 1, 2016 to the present day.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I want all correspondence to and from NYC DOT, and all correspondence among DOT staff, related to the erasure of the original Dyckman Street protected bike lane, which was installed in 2017 and subsequently assailed by electeds including U.S. Rep. Adriano Espaillat and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.

I wrote the request as I did so that DOT couldn’t reasonably avoid providing the documents I’m looking for.

Please advise if I am still failing to make myself clear.
