Factors and circumstances necessitating more time to respond may include, but are not limited to: (1) the number of requests received by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), (2) the complexity of the request, (3) the ease or difficulty in locating and retrieving records, (4) the volume of records located in response to the request, and (5) the need to review records pursuant to Public Officers Law (POL) § 87(2) to determine the extent to which they must be disclosed.
