Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any files related to Lee Brewster, founder of the Queen's Liberation Army and the owner of Lee's Mardi Gras Boutique in New York City, who died in 2000 (https://www.nytimes.com/2000/05/24/nyregion/lee-brewster-57-style-guru-for-world-s-cross-dressers.html).
I am a career journalist with work that has appeared in various publications. I am willing to pay any reasonable expenses associated with this request, however, as the purpose of the requested disclosure is in full conformity with the statutory requirements for a waiver of fees, I formally request such a waiver.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
