Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

WNYC/Gothamist seeks a list of schools that received a total of $12 million in additional funding due to an influx of students in temporary housing for the 2022-2023. On Oct. 31, 2022, Chancellor David Banks said during a press conference that the schools had been identified through Project Open Arms.
Please share the information in a spreadsheet that provides the amount of money allocated per school, as well as the number of students in temporary housing.

I ask that you expedite this request because of the urgency of the asylum seekers crisis in New York City. Banks' remarks indicate the information should be easily obtainable from DOE files.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
