Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
On Friday, June 30, 2023 at around 1:13AM there was a report of a gunshot at Paulding Ave & Mace Ave, Bronx, New York, 10469 due to a shot spotter activation. According to dispatch radio, NYPD officers of the 47th or 49th precincts responded and made contact with multiple witnesses who stated they heard fireworks in the area. I am looking for body camera footage and incident reports for this incident.
If possible, to identify these records, look for any records for police responding to an incident of reported gunfire from the evening of June 29th 2023 to June 30 2023 before 7 AM near Paulding Ave and Mace Ave in the Bronx. A possible address is 2549 Colden Ave.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
