Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
In 2019, Kevin Riford requested records from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office regarding the 02/15/2019 incident in which Nicholas Faso (badge no. 0166) came to his residence regarding missing persons (his sister, niece, and nephew). The Niagara County Sheriff's Office provided a total of four (4) pages of redacted documents in response to his request.
Please provide the following records: 1.) A copy of the Niagara County Sheriff's Field Case Report that was provided to Kevin Riford in response to the aforementioned FOIL request. Upon information and belief, the field case report provided was CR# 2019-00010019, is four pages in total and contained 37 redactions.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
