Pursuant to North Carolina Public Records Law (G.S. §§ 132-1 through 132-10), I hereby request the following documents:

-The Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification forms submitted as required to the United States Department of Justice for the years 2011 through 2016.
-Total civil asset forfeiture figures per year for the years 2010 through the date this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

It should be noted that this request will also be forwarded to the State Bureau of Investigation as they handle their own records requests, as well as Alcohol Law Enforcement. Technically, they are an independent agency and DPS only provides administrative support on certain matters.
