From: Susan Corke
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records between of the Alliance Defending Freedom, also known as ADF, employees of the group and the North Carolina Lieutenant Governor's Office between January 14, 2013 and the present.
Please interpret this request to include all emails, notes, memos, text messages (where available) and phone messages.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.
Sincerely,
Brett Barrouquere 334-956-8234
From: Office of Lieutenant Governor
Your request has been received. Your request will be filled in the order received. We have received many requests recently, some of which are voluminous and may delay the fulfillment of your request beyond normal times.

To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following North Carolina Public Records Law request, copied below, and originally submitted on Jan. 8, 2019. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From: Office of Lieutenant Governor
As noted earlier, we have some very voluminous requests that are set to be processed before yours. I would expect it will be at least a few months before we can process this request. We have a very small staff and have been inundated with large-scale, wide ranging out-of-state requests that are fulfilled in the order we receive them.

Considering that we have dozens of voluminous requests from multiple out-of-state organizations that are in front of your request in the queue, I can safely say that it will be at least three to four months, probably longer, before your request can be fulfilled.
