Hello Mr. Pitner,
Thanks so much for your email. I would be interested in materials specific to your region; I actually initially filed this request with the main office, and I was directed to submit it to each regional office, which I have. Would a timeframe of January 1, 2010 through the present sufficiently limit this request?
Thanks again!
Beryl

Dear Beryl,
I just read your story on hog farms in North Carolina. You erroneously reported you have not heard from DEQ's seven regions regarding the number of swine farm violations, except Mooresville. Please see below a link to ALL of DEQ's Notices of Violations and Notices of Deficiencies of swine and poultry farms that was sent to you March 7, 2017.
Please make sure you employ journalistic principles and ethics in your coverage of events.
Thank you,

Hello Ms. Sink,
Thank you so much for pointing out this oversight on my part. The piece has
been amended to reflect the correction. I'm wondering whether this means,
however, that I shouldn't expect responses or any other materials related
to these violations or other inspections; I was instructed to submit the
request to each division and would be interested in negotiating the release
of any other relevant materials.
Thanks again for your time and patience.
Best wishes,
Beryl
