Public Records Request: Connect Cameras

To Whom It May Concern:

According to ConnectNCPD.com, "CONNECT NORTH CHARLESTON is a new public safety program enabling the people of North Charleston to help keep their community safe" through registering and integrating cameras into the North Charleston Police network.

Pursuant to the South Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Documents sufficient to show the full list of participants in the camera registry and camera integration with North Charleston Police through the Connect North Charleston program. As reported on ConnectNCPD.com on May 18, 2023, there are 837 registered cameras and 57 integrated cameras.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.
