Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Use of force (UOF) data dating from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2023. This data should be in database or spreadsheet format and include the case number, incident date, incident time, subject injured indicator, subject injury force related info (e.g. Yes or No), subject age, subject gender, subject ethnicity, subject weapon type, incident area occurred, force type, officer badge number and names associated with the officers involved. If one or more of these fields is unavailable, provide all fields that are available responsive to my request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Additionally, in the future all Public Records Requests should be submitted using the appropriate methods, which are outlined on our city website. (link below)

This Public Records Request was faxed to a printer that was in an administrate office that does not handle requests, which ultimately caused this request to be delayed. If submitted properly, this allows us to have a quicker response and allow for proper tracking of such requests.
