Dear Public Records Requestors,

Regarding the most recent public records requests at 4343 Wabasso Ave, I would like to provide some context to what you are reviewing.

Some of the calls are initiated by officers and those will state "O-Officer Initiated". Those that say "P-Phone-Cell/Landline, etc" are all calls that have come in on the administrative lines and are non-emergency calls not generated by a 911 call.

Regarding 21.055740 - this call was self-initiated by officers over the radio when news of Duane Chapman being present was advised of one of the units in the area. Due to the media presence in the area officers self-initiated response to assist in crowd control. While officers were in the area, there was a 911 call generated from the Laundrie residence. As is our practice, the notes for this were documented in the existing call for service and indicate within the notes that the additional call came in on 911.

The records you received do include numerous self-initiated/proactive officer activities. These are not the result of citizens, or others, calling the police for assistance. These records were provided by our agency in interpretation of the public records request.

Exempt and/or confidential information has been redacted in accordance with FSS 119.071(2)(c)1, this completes this request.
