Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Respectfully, this is a request for all documents, reports, photographs, correspondence with NCIC, reports filed to NCIC, or any and all documents that could be construed as a "case file" that are related to an unidentified person discovered on September 5th of 1983 in the town of Geddes in Onondaga County in New York.
This unidentified person has an agency case number of 83-28991. This person is listed in the national NamUs database as UP: 6057.
I am filing this request because it is my strong belief that this person could be a missing man from Toms River, New Jersey named John E. Warren. The public release of these documents, were they to exist, will help assist in the identification of this long unidentified individual.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
