Incident Report

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the South Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

I am submitting this request for public records related to an incident reported by local news . According to the report an Orangeburg man wearing a “Let’s Go Brandon” hat was told he couldn’t vote at his polling place while wearing it. I believe the Case Number is 24-02609.

Specifically, I am requesting the following records, if they exist:

Incident Report: Any incident or police report(s) prepared in connection with this incident. (Case Number is 24-02609. )

911 Audio: A copy of any 911 call recordings related to the incident, including any call placed by election workers, witnesses, or involved parties.

Radio Dispatch Recordings: Any police radio dispatch communications concerning the incident, including initial dispatch and subsequent communications related to the incident.

Body Camera Footage: All body-worn camera footage captured by responding law enforcement officers at the scene of the incident.

Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Log: The CAD log detailing the sequence of events, including all times and actions taken by dispatch and responding units during this incident.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
