To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Oregon Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
(1) All data generated and retained through use of Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR) by Oregon State Police (OSP), specifically: License plate, date, GPS location, unit number generating the data, disposition and result of check of plate. Deliver complete data set generated and provide in electronic form, spreadsheet or database.
(2) All policies, guidelines, manuals and/or instructions on department use of ALPR.
(3) Make and model of ALPRs in use by OSP.
(4) A list of all agencies and other organizations with which the OSP is sharing ALPR data.
(5) Any data obtained during use of ALPRs in the OSP's "Suspended Driver" program, as described in the State Police's presentation to International Association of Chiefs of Police. (6) Any notes, emails, or other information related to request # PR19562, which dealt with the same subject matter but received a "no responsive documents" response from your department.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
