Re: Public Records Request - OHA Communications Related to COVID-19 February 1, 2020 - March 11, 2020 (2020-247)
Dear Ms. Matsakis,
This will confirm that Oregon Health Authority received your March 11, 2020 public records request for "All electronic communications, including attachments, sent or received by representatives of the Oregon Health Authority and representatives of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)" between February 1, 2020 and March 11, 2020 and that contain the words "coronavirus" or "Covid-19." Unfortunately, your request is too broad for processing. OHA Policy OHA-010-010 requires that a complete request for records include a description of the information requested, as specific as possible, including the type of records, subject matter, approximate dates the records were created, and the names of the persons involved; as well as contact information for the requestor, including a telephone number of the person or organization requesting the public records. Would you please provide me a telephone number where I can reach you? I need to speak with you regarding narrowing the scope of your request and cost estimates. Thank you.
