To Whom It May Concern, Thank you for submitting your public information request to the Village of Orland Park on November 17, 2023. Village’s Response A search for records produced over 6,000 pages of records which the Village has determined to be voluminous in nature as defined in Section 2(h) of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act. 5 ILCS 140/2(h). You are hereby notified that you have ten (10) business days (December 11, 2023) to amend and/or narrow your November 17, 2023 FOIA Request. If we do not receive an amended request within this timeframe, or if the request continues to be voluminous, the Village will respond to your request and assess any fees permitted under Section 6 of the Freedom of Information Act. Once an amended request has been received, the Village will respond within five (5) business days after receipt of the reply or, if no reply is received, the Village will respond five (5) business days from December 11, 2023, —the last day to amend the request. The Village may also extend its time to respond to your FOIA Request up to an additional ten (10) business days.
