Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any policy manual, employee procedure manual, or folder of collected policies which guide police operations.

The original format of the documents is acceptable (i.e. PDF, doc, .txt, etc).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I have attached the Pennsylvania Standard Right to Know Request Law Form to this email in a fillable PDF format.
If you could please complete this form and return it to me at my Email this will prevent any additional delays in processing your request.

Additionally, If you be able to narrow down your request with more specificity, this may help increase the response time to your request.

Your request of, "Any policy manual, employee procedure manual, or folder of collected policies which guide police operations." Is broad, as our policy system has over 120 individual policies along with other reference materials which will need to be reviewed and potentially redacted if the policy deals with building security/operational security/officer safety issues. Some of these policies relate to building maintenance/vehicle maintenance, etc. and may not be what you are looking for but would technically be covered under "policies which guide police operations".

If you are looking specifically for policies such as use of force, booking procedures, patrol practices, etc., specifying these types of policies this may help to expedite your request.
