Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) Your agency's contract and statement of work with ZeroEyes Inc. for the provision of the ZeroEyes automatic weapon detection systems.
2) Detection data from your agency's ZeroEyes system showing:
a) The number of scans conducted by the Zero Eyes system since its installation
b) The number of true positive detections made by the ZeroEyes system (a true positive is an event in which the system correctly identified a weapon)
b) The number of false positive detections made by the ZeroEyes system (a false positive is an event in which the system incorrectly identified a non-weapon object as a weapon)
c) The number of false negative events (a false negative is an event in which the system failed to detect a weapon)
Please provide the data broken down by month, if available, and by year if not available by month.
I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purpose.
If you choose to impose fees, I request a detailed breakdown of the fees, including the hourly wage of each employee involved and an explanation of the employee hours required to fulfill the request.
If you choose to reject this request or redact portions of responsive documents, I ask that you provide a detailed breakdown of the statutory exemptions and associated case law underlying your decision to withhold each/any portions from public review.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

My office is working with SEPTA to respond to your Right to Know Law request of July 25, 2024. In order to conduct a thorough review of your request and the documents that may be responsive, we are requesting a two-week extension to respond, with a new deadline of September 17, 2024. I note that this extension does not waive any rights SEPTA may have under the Right to Know Law.
