John,
Your request was sent to the City Archives, but since it is such a contemporary issue, I'm not sure we have the records you are interested in. Could you provide some more information about what you are looking for? You state that you are looking for " public documents relating to the passage of Portland City Charter Section 3-301 and corresponding Portland City Code (PCC) Section 2.10.010;" could you elaborate what types of information you are seeking?  This will help me figure out where the information may reside. Thanks for your help. Diana Banning Portland Archives & Records Management

Thank you,
Specifically we would like any correspondence, emails, and names of agency employees involved with the enforcement of the campaign limits of $500. Who was fined, when did enforcement begin, and why were some people not fined prior to June 2020. Additionally, we request information on where the funds from the fines are located and what they are used for, and a list of bank accounts and the balances of those bank accounts.
Thank you for your cooperation.

John,
I'm checking back in with you to see if you have had the opportunity to review my message to you dated 1/22/21 regarding your request.  I asked if you could elaborate on what types of information you are seeking about the passage of Charter section 3-301 and Code 2.10.010.  I need additional information in order to know if the City Archives has the information you seek or if I need to refer you to another office.
Thank you.
